AUGUST 2009
Filming on some of the scenes in Darkness of Day were shot in the home of a recent murder. The property in South Colorado Springs was home to a homicide in February. The victim tried hiding in the closet and shot out of the closet running to the garage where he was killed. Having an abandoned house with bullet holes is a strong ad to the feel of the film. 

JULY 2009

JUNE 2009
Terror Film Festival has listed Darkness of Day as being up for an award in the screenplay category. www.terrorfilmfestival.com then click on th caverns. 

JUNE 2009
New Trailer has been posted. You can see the look and feel of the bar Southside Johnnies in the shot as well as many of the characters in the movie. Although we are deep into the shooting of the movie we are trying to update as much as we can giving you the project as it goes along. 

MAY 2009
Shooting commences in Manitou Springs. One of the Locations for the shooting of Darkness of Day is the Barker House in Manitou Springs, CO. It is one of the oldest hotels in Colorado having been built in the 1890's. It leads to a very interesting feel to the shots.

APRIL 2009
The Cast for Darkness of Day is almost complete with the additions of two actresses. Jess Hollis from Fort Collins and Veronica Kelly from Parker are the latest two actresses joining the project. "We're super excited to have them on board!" explains A.J. Ager. "They are passionate and have a lot of experience and its awesome to have them involved in this major event."

APRIL 2009
The Possessed Hand Crew Picked up the screenwriting award for Darkness of Day. It was a fun weekend at the Eastside Cannery Casino at the Las Vegas International Film Festival. The trip was almost paid for when Producers A.J. Ager and Aaron Springfield hit the craps table. A stronger roll would have not only paid for the trip but also possibly the flick. But alas Vegas will have to wait till next time to get some more money for the next project. 

February 2009
Darkness of Day finalist in the Las Vegas International Film Festival in the Screenplay competition. Ceremony is April 11,12 in Las Vegas. Please wish the Possessed hand Crew Luck and if they don'r have that at least maybe they can fund future projects. 

January 2, 2009
Possessed Hand Productions is in negotiations with Ken Hendricks and Redrum Digital for Ken to be Director of Photography on Darkness of Day. This is a great thing with Ken having worked on many big projects. 

DECEMBER 2008
Darkness of Day screenplay entered into the Rhode Island International Film Festival.  Darkness of Day is an official entry in the RIIFF which is one of the largest in the nation especially for horror films. The winners will be announced over the summer.

NOVEMBER 2008
Darkness of Day entered in the Las Vegas International Film Festival. The Screenplay for Darkness of Day has been entered into the Las Vegas international film festival. Winners will be announced in 2009. Look forward to seeing what happens.

Sothside Johnny's Named at Location for Shoot
Southside Johnny's in Colorado Springs has made a deal with Possessed Hand Productions to allow the shooting of the bar scenes in  Darkness of Day. This establishment is a high visability location in Colorado Springs and with their three seperate bars it makes for a unique local. If you have the opp make sure you run by Southside Johnny's
